Small Church Leadership Conference in North Carolina

If you're looking for a great way to expand your understanding of some of the particular qualities of leadership in small churches -- not to mention getting connected with some other great small church leaders -- consider making the trek out to Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina on May 26-29 to be a part of "The Small Church Leadership Conference." Perhaps it's my perception... but has there been any consideration of holding one of these conferences in a location other than the east coast? One of the realities of small congregations is that there are not significant travel/continuing ed budgets-- and those of us in the hinterlands (I'm in south central Montana) might like to make use of these opportunities if we could get to them more easily.

I agree with Jane Ellen, there are loads of small congregations in the central corridor of the nation.

Also, does anyone have any thoughts on how the Emergent Church could impact small congregations?
